Without heals, it took over 20 bomb hits to sink her from American planes. In testing, American AP bombs just didn't seem to be able to stack damage quickly. Her deck armour profile is a bit of a mixed blessing when it comes to armour piercing bombs, however. Roma's in the good half of the dichotomy. At tier VIII, torpedo defenses are either amazaballs (Amagi, South Dakota sisters) or they suck moose balls (everyone else). Her torpedo damage reduction is pretty darned good, so to speak. This will also provide you with some very comfortable bounces when you angle just right. This is proof against HE from 420mm or smaller unless it's British BB or German BB & CA thrown. When she angles, can foil even 460mm shells. She has a 130mm extended forward armoured belt. Both ships would have them, since Nelson could drop as a duplicate from the t7 ship crates and you’d be able to request doubloon compensation from support, and Oklahoma will potentially be available for direct purchase in the future and would then have a posted compensation value in the shop listing.Alright, with that out of the way, let's talk about the good stuff: (Edit: If you want to know actual doubloon compensation values for those two ships, your only chance is going to be to contact support and ask for the values. Nelson and Oklahoma have any posted doubloon compensation value since they’re only available in game for in game resources (free xp and a collection reward, respectively) and under normal circumstances can’t be obtained more than once. Georgia’s compensation value is from the premium shop as it’s not available for doubloons in game. As mentioned above, you can check the armory online without being logged in to see the armory values, or check the premium shop for the compensation values (which always match the armory doubloons cost minus the 300 doubloon port slot in the armory price).
